Dive the warm waters of San Carlos with the Academy of Scuba. San Carlos is one of the best dive and drive opportunities in the American Southwest! Warm water, sea lions, and much much more. Escape for a long weekend and recharge your batteries. World class diving is a short drive south of the border.

Our group will arrive in San Carlos on either Saturday (June 30) or Thursday (August 23) evening/late afternoon.  Perhaps we will arrive early enough to watch the sunset at the Soggy Peso, a quaint little beach bar right out of the pages of a Jimmy Buffett novel. 

San Carlos is a sleepy little dive town that comes alive during the summer months with divers hoping to see the spectacular sights of Jacques Cousteau's Aquarium of the World.  The Sea of Cortez is home to hundreds of unique marine life species.  It is world class diving on the border of the Sonoran desert.  On our first night, you can join the staff for dinner and fill your heart with this sleepy little dive town.

The next 3 mornings, we will wake up early and start our dive day.  As long as the weather cooperates, we will be heading to San Pedro Island.  San Pedro is teeming with marine life.  Angel Fish, Damsels, and more.  On the way out, we may run into the rogue pod of dolphins that is a frequent visitor to dive boats making the quick drive out to the island.  San Pedro Island is also home to one of the largest Sea Lion Rookery's in the Sea of Cortez.  San Carlos has some great local diving as well, so no matter where we end up, you're in for a treat.  We will do 3 dives the first two days and 2 dives the last day.  This time of year, water temperatures are in the low 80s and the visibility can reach 100 feet on a good day.  World Class Diving!

After our days of diving, you can spend your time having a margarit, shopping in town, or lying in the sun.  In the evenings, we'll head out to dinner to celebrate our great dives.  Afterwards, you can explore the incredible nightlife of San Carlos.  Take a nap on the boat, have a nice dinner, and enjoy this little resort town.   

Included: 4 nights hotel stay at the Best Western Hacienda Tetakawi in San Carlos, 2 days of 3-Tank Diving, and 1 day of 2-Tank Diving.

Not Included: Transportation, Food, Beverage, Equipment, and anything else not mentioned.
